Position Highlights
- Report to the Business Office Manager and interacts with the Administrator, business office colleagues, nursing center staff and the Centralized Billing Office.
- Attractive Monday -- Friday schedule
- Assist with census, billing, month end related activities, collections, processing of refunds and patient/resident trust fund transactions.
- Complete Medical Assistance application tasks as assigned.
- Coordinate patient/resident ancillary charges and enter into billing system.
- Review patient/resident admission files for accuracy.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent is required. *Long term care billing and collection experience preferred, including Medicare, Medicaid, and private pay. *Two years' experience in a computerized work environment. To protect the health and safety of our patients, residents, employees, family members, and the communities we serve, Genesis has implemented a universal COVID-19 vaccination requirement for employees, care partners and onsite vendors.
